Rear suspension linkage FOR SALE

I replaced the linkage bearings on my TTR yesterday and, having dug through my spares box, decided that I don't need so many spare relay and link arms!

So I spent a grimy day today pressing out all the old bearings and cleaning up the arms. Out of 8 relay arms that I "processed" there wasn't one bearing that I would have trusted to put on my TTR. They all had some degree of rust on the bearings or sleeves.

The all-steel Raid arm's bearings were so rusted in that, despite a lot of heat, banging and swearing, I couldn't get them out so have binned it in disgust cry

The aluminium OE arms weren't so bad and only a couple needed a touch with the blowlamp.

The link arms bearings weren't so bad as they have a degree of protection up in the swing arm but, even so, it makes sense to renew those bearings as they come in the AllBalls kits I use along with a new shaft.

So now I have some arms for sale all ready for you to fit your new bearings and seals. I have done the hard part for you in removing the old bearings and cleaning up the arms biggrin

Relay arm (left of pic) -  £19 inc. p&p within the UK (Yamaha part number 4GY-2217A-00-00)

Link arm (right of pic) - £17 inc. p&p within the UK (Yamaha part number 4GY-2217F-00-00)

£34 for a pair (inc. p&p within the UK) plus a special price of £55 (inc. p&p within the UK) for an AllBalls linkage bearing kit if you buy it at the same time. These kits include all bearings and seals including the lower shock bearing.

Save yourself a lot of work and have a repaired linkage ready to go right back in as soon as you remove your old knackered linkage arms wink
