Raid no longer for sale
Permalink

Hi all, just testing the water (as I watch something on ebay!!- don't tell the wife)

Any interest in a Raid out there at the moment? Can post more details and piccies if want (will need to dig out the old paperwork)

But it is taxed and tested and overall good condition. has done more road than off road work and miles reflect this, imported model (as are all raids) and everything solid.

Raid model = Bigger tank and therefore longer range, decent headlight.

Looking for £950

Location- Cullompton in Devon.

Thanks Brian,

I picked up an old XJ 750 to feed my need for longer road work/ afternoons out in Cornwall and Wales, the Raid (and those Tyres) wouldn't like the motorwaysno.

Unfortunatly the XJ is taking longer to get back on the road, so my wrist is getting itchy.

I know I'll miss the Raid in the Autumn, but after 22 years of riding and 15 different bikes I haven't learnt that lesson, so guess I never willbiggrin

If the ebay bike goes anyway I will be patient and ride the raid, or hopefully tax and test the XJ, then I will be a happy bunny and have my cake and eat it!

Lovely looking bike Andy. Tempted myself as I haven't got a Raid here at the moment.

However, Mrs TTR says I have to part with some of my existing stock before I can buy another TTR cry

Good luck anyways wink

Brian

after a discussion with the Wife, and some sensible head time I have decided to keep the Raid, simple reasons being my desire to sell the bike came from a lack of patience and ready cash.

The Raid does all I need for what it is, and should I sell it then I doubt I would easily get a replacement with no known faults for the cash.

Thanks for the PM's and I wish those hunters well.

Cracking little bikes for the money.
