hi everyone, I'm glad to see a forum to join for me and my ttr !!!

I've just bought a k plate with a smoking fault, it looks like the previous fella ran it short on oil and nipped it up, I've now got the barrel off to inspect for damage and it needs a re-bore and piston kit and very unluckily a con rod !!

id like to say a big thanks to Brian for sorting out all the parts i need, top bloke and a pleasure to business with

phil

Welcome to the forum, Phil.

Seems that you found us in good time, especially as you have a sick TTR. cry The spares seem to be available from the TTR250 pages (Thankfully) so it looks like the bikes will be running for some time yet.

Manchester is placed quite handily for trails in Derbyshire and the Peaks. When you get the bike sorted you must sally eastward to sample.

Good luck.

I hope you pre-booked a ferry. When I tried in February I was told there were no bike bookings available this year disbelief, and they were filling up for next year.  cry
It may be possible to get a cancellation space if you're lucky and available at short notice.

Foot passengers (walk on - walk off) are OK though.

Hi Phil and welcome to the forum!

Bad luck on the conrod cry

The part numbers you need are:

Conrod - 4GY-11651-00-00

Big end bearing (daft not to do it whilst the crank  is apart) - 93310-632D7-00

You shouldn't really need the journal and thrust washers.

I am pretty sure I have the parts on the shelf if that helps.

Well done clap.gif  - wish I'd known that.

Enjoy the trip. If the weather keeps fine the island is amazing. If it's persistently then it's terrible.
