Hi all !

I have to change left crankcase cover, but i can't find a new part with partnumber 4GY-15411-01-00 . I have found a lot suggestios of 4GY-15411-02-00 in the internet shops. So i have a question : are these parts interchangeable ?

Thanks, Dmitriy

I have used the 02 on an older TTR and as far as I understand it the 01 and 02 are identical.

Hi, I'm not sure where this belongs, but I'll put it here.

I have a 1993 TTR250 OE, recently I have been doing some work to it. I have fitted the 263 kit, had the valves reseated, cut the restrictor out the header it seemed unusual that it was still there after 20 years, the other mods had been done. I have also finally sorted the crack in my frame, DON'T TAKE A TTR ROUND A MOTOCROSS TRACK!

The thing is, I'm a ham fisted idiot, I was reinstalling the starter idler gear, I didn't realise it was the wrong way round. disbelief Like an idiot, I kept tightening the gear cover down over it, I cracked the idler gear cover and I just realised the crankcase cover that sits behind the idler gear, obviously what has happened is I have forced the idler gear through the back of the generator cover.

I can source a second hand 2003 TTR 250 generator cover for a reasonable price, considering the stealership wants over £250, my question is whether this cover from a blue TTR will fit my older white one?

Any help would be much appreciated,
Adam

PS I have now been off the bike for 5 weeks, minus 10 miles testing the new piston before I spotted the oil leak again, I would like to have it sorted as soon as I can.

Bad luck Adam no

The covers are inter-changeable between white and blue models.

 Thanks Brian!

That's exactly what I wanted to hear! I can't wait to get back on the bike.
