Great to have the new bike and she's a beaut! Bought this off a top bloke (TTRRaid on this forum) and i'm delighted. Went out yesterday and here are a few pics of her while we were out and about.

Cheers guys.

I have always liked the look of the Raid - they have a real purposeful look to them.

Ace! I've got a 94 raid too and my first proper ride out is tomorrow, off up in the Yorkshire dales, I can't wait. I like the look of them too, and I'm a bit jealous of yours as I've got an open enduro headlight on mine which isn't as good. A previous owner did it, so I'm hoping at some point to upgrade mine somehow

I agree about the look of them, thay certainly look ready for action! The headlight is very good, I've only pottered around locally at night using it but its definately bright and with a good range...it's not the prettiest of looks if you ask me but i'm learning to love it!

Enjoy your day out tomorrow Pedrosan...make sure you get some good pics too....

What? Another '94 Raid trundling 'round Herts, this could get confusing.

Maybe see you around sometime, but I'm usually in west Essex/ east Herts, so perhaps you'll be safe. biggrin

Just looked at they are Michelin Competition, didn't have any more detail on them but i think they're fairly common...

They're in my garage now as a spare set...never know when you may need them...summer months maybe when the trails are dryer and not really suitable for big knobblies....

oothelawd, they them there tyres be michelin competition trials tyres. That whilst road legal are as soft as dog do.

They dont last more than 5 minutes on the road, as there designed to be run at 4psi at 0.6mph over rocks and roots.

Here in the UK many enduro competition organisers dont allow big knobblies, in order to minimise damage. So the only option is to run trials tyres.
