so i bought a tail light on ebay with a clear section down the bottom to shine some yellow light on the rear fender. i bought this so i could get rid of the black tail section and just put the license place on the back fender. the idea is that there is a globe that shines through the clear and lights up the plate, so its still legal.
it arrived today, however, its only the red top part of the rear light, not the internals. ie just the cover.
how do i get this wired up properly, should i remove one of the license plate globes from the old black tail piece and glue it inside the tail light down where i want it to shine on the back fender? or is there somewhere i can buy a tail light kit to swap with what i have that has both a tail light, and license plate light in it, that goes with the cover i bought.
LMFAO!!! cant believe i just asked this question. its a clear light anyway the tail light, it will shine through the clear section lighting up the rear fender, and also shine through the red cover making red light.
