Hello,

I'm Nate here in Michigan.  Converted the 02 from dirt only to barely street legal last summer.  Made the high/low switch mount, along with the rear brake switch mount, narrowed bars, and custom fitted bark busters.  I need to get a little more top speed out of it in order to ride to the trails.  I like the slow and tight single track stuff, but getting there needs to be easier on the bike.  Looking forward to some good discussions when the need arrises.

Long live the dead battery push start...

Nice-looking bike, Nate. It is great to have one's trail bike street legal...so practical.

Picked it up in 2010 for $1600. After getting it home and riding it a bit the paint started to wear off by the boot frame area like a new bike should. I think the bike sat around in the garage for 8 years and was hardly ever ridden! I test drove a street legal Kawasaki KLX 250 at the same dealer when shopping. What a gutless wonder! The TTR won my vote even though I had to convert it to street.
