as probably the cheapest option for lowering by about an inch, how exactly would one shave the seat, and would it be possible to do it and retain the original cover, or is that buggered onced ripped off.

oh yeah, i mean doing it ones self, obviously i could take it to a motor trimmors but then it wouldnt be the cheapest option. the lowering link would be probably.

 Very carefully - is the answer. biggrin

Riders have managed to do it in the past so it IS possible. wink

A very sharp blade or big pair of scissors is what I would try. I would also endeavor to prize the staples out and re-use the existing cover. If it's warmed and stretched it should re fit well.

Since I've go a 34 inch inside leg I never have a problem. biggrin

If I was a short 4rse then I'd get my boot soles made a bit thicker I think.

Best way to shave a seat is an electric carving knife!
