The dealer in my town told me I could use PVC just cut it to fit I have not done it I was not sure it would hold up
Not tried it in a TTR but I used to use PVC waste pipe as spacers in the forks of my Husky WR many years ago with no problems. Used to enduro it so was tested well enough
Surely you can increase the spring rate by increasing the air pressure in the forks, from 0 psi. (soft) to 5.8 psi. (hard) all as per the owners manual.
Have you tried this first?
I run my TTR250 in overlanding trim (22ltr.Acerbis), soft - 0 psi.
A few people have suggested PVC but I'm not too keen on using plastic in place of steel. I thought about air pressure but my ADM owners manual says max 0.4psi (typo?) and I have absolutely no way of measuring pressures that small and I've blown seals on another bike with too much pressure.
I have ordered a spacer from yamaha, only au$22 so not bad at al
