How many teeth can you put on the rear maximum without needing a new chain if your running a 13 front by the way?

Dave, where are the snail cam adjusters pointing?
You will probably be OK if the wheel at present is half way or more back in the slots.
The bigger sprocket will take up 3 links (or a tad more) so you need at least that amount of slack in the present chain/wheel adjustment to accomodate it.
You could end up with the wheel so far forward in the arm that your tyre will catch the rubber flap and put a hole in it.
I recently put a 14:47 set up and the chain uses 114 links, but it is on the loose side.
