after being paid a little more than usual, i now have a budget for a better or more expensive exhaust.
staintunes are very good australian built exhausts and for 640 Australian dollars it could be the one i buy.
just wondering if any aussies have put one on a blue ttr, even better a late model blue one like mine so you can tell me what needed to be changed jet wise.

Hey Dave, I had a Staintune on my 06 TTR, they fit perfectly and weigh bugger all compared to the stock one, I had to put the Stock one back on though as I ride in some very sensitive areas so mine is for sale if you are interested, it's got a few scuff marks and a small dent where it was dropped (not by me) apart from that it's in Good condition
As to performance I would say they give you a bit more grunt, I would guess it would give you a few extra horses
As far as jetting goes, I wouldn't change any of the jets, I would probably and adjust the mixture screws first, It ran pretty good on mine and when I replaced the stock exhaust it ran fine on that as well, go figure ??
I guess your in OZ so PM if your interested
Cheers Steve

Steve, just wanted to say thanks publicly for the transaction mate. I am very happy with the exhaust. I do understand why people complained though. it is loud with the baffle in, and loud as hell with it out. its staying out though.
