gday guys,

just thought i would ask people what options i have for adding a better exhaust system to the TTR250.

I have a 2011 model, and noticed that there are lots of FMF exhausts on ebay, but they all say they fit models up to 2006. will these fit the 2011 model also? If so, what can i expect from an exhaust upgrade. is it worth it. will i have to rejet?

thanks in advance!

I think that parts and accessories advertised in the US tend to give dates that coincide with when the TTR was sold as new i.e. 1999 to 2006. To the best of my knowledge, little has changed over the years to now - except perhaps the decals.

The only way you can really tell if a new exhaust gives more power is to do a before and after dyno test as we did with the new Motad exhausts over here in the UK.

What fools a lot of owners is that their TTR may seem faster because of the louder exhaust note no

Stuff for TTRs is quite available in Ozland, I think.  smile

I know there is a source of bash plates and frameguards and also barkbreakers to save your levers.

Exhausts are there too - perhaps if you Google what you want you will fid suppliers. wink
