2004 Low Mileage Yamaha TTR250 For Sale

Rare opportunity to buy a Yamaha TTR250 trail bike with only 2,078miles on the clock.

This TTR is mint and I would challenge anyone to find better!!

Reliable and economical 250cc four stroke with 6 gears- the perfect dual purpose commuter/trail bike.

First registered June 2004. MOT until 31 March 2012 and taxed to end March2012. Genuine bike in excellent condition.

  • Wrap around handguards with alloy inserts.
  • New TKC80 Twinduro tyres - perfect on road and also well-mannered on the lanes.
  • Quality heavy duty  sump guard
  • New battery
  • A switch has been fitted allowing the headlight to be turned off when not required.
  • Dual start - electric AND kickstart
  • Proper ignition switch (unlike many enduro bikes) with spare key plus steering lock
  • Full speedo and idiot light cluster with speedo in mph
  • Fully adjustable suspension front and rear to suit your riding style
  • Workshop and owners manuals on CD
  • Suitable for someone who has passed the A2 as less than 33 kW.
  • A lower seat option is available plus a further 2" can be lost with a lowering link

An excellent example of this sought-after bike. It starts and runs well - as to be expected for such a low mileage.

There is a good range of after-market accessories for the TTRs seehttp://www.totallyttrs.com/ . Lots of information on this very popular and sought after bike at www.ttr250.com

There is also a very active owners group here -http://ttr250.activeboard.com/

Very economical and will do a day's trail riding on a tank of petrol. Plus it has an "all-day" comfy seat unlike more enduro-based machines.

Perfect beginner's trail bike but also suitable for the more experienced rider who realises that it isn't necessary to have a big engine to enjoy themselves on Devon's technical lanes.

There are cheaper TTRs around but the choice is yours. This one is in excellent order - you won't be disappointed!

Excellent value at £2,195  Cash on collection, bank transfer or cheque cleared in advance please.

PM me to arrange a viewing! I live near Exeter, UK.

Just a quick message to say that I would be happy to put 12 months MOT on the TTR for the new owner if required.

I am also happy to put on a new Pirelli MT43 or MITAS CO2 rear tyre if preferred over the TKC80.

She is a beauty. If it was over here, across the pond, it would certainly turn a friend on to it.

I have just eyeballed this bike and confirm that it is truly a MINTER.

With only 2,078 miles it means that it's just passed running in and ready for anything.

I was sorely, sorely tempted but instead I bought some bits that I'd ordered from Mr TTR. It would certainly please my Missus that I refrained. aww

Thanks for letting me inspect it, Brian and thanks also for the coffee and the bits.

Martyn

BTW - you need to get out more!
