Undamaged petrol cap

Hi Im looking for a good used or new petrol cap with pipe for a early ttr250 oe as mine seems to have been repaired in the past and is now falling apart.

The caps that fit the metal tanks don't usually have pipes whereas the plastic caps on the later blue plastic tanks do have a breather/overflow pipe fitted. So I am not surewhat you are replacing confuse

Please advise.

Well the cap I have is plastic top but metal inner and it used to have a breather pipe from the top but this came off and I have now noticed a crack in the plastic ????

This is the standard metal tank cap with lock:

and the blue plastic tanks sport this type with breather tube:

Maybe yours is an after-market one confuse

Hmmm mine is more like the last picture so am puzzled, looks like I have had the wrong fuel cap from start, I like the look of the first one with lock, looks like the search is on.
