Hey everyone I was just wondering if someone would be kind enough to explain how the jetting works, and how to rejet. I have a blue 2000 ttr with what I asume to be stock jets. I have installed an aftermarket exhaust and I think it's running a bit rich. How ever I have no clue about jetting. Thanks Aidan

Hi,

try downloading the Dellorto_manual.pdf   from

http://www.mediafire.com/?jci4jueyoow

You may find other sites that have that manual available for download too.

It has a good description of how carbs work, although it is DeL Orto based (excellent carbs, by the way).

You'll have to do some thinking during your read!

One of the Honda manuals (I think XR200) has a one page guide to jetting for temperature / altitude but won't add much to your understanding unless you already know quite a bit.

Good luck, enjoy.

Barrie

PS  Unless you have a lot of time to waste don't follow the links on electrical power saving which may be on that page too ....
