Sadly I'm the opposite of the other posters on here. I'm about to put my TTR up for sale and am also looking for a small part for it. Thought it would be more polite to say hello rather than registering,  sticking an ad up and saying nothing. In my defence, I have bought a couple of bits from Brian!

Can say for sure the TTR has been a superb do-it-all trail bike for the last year and a half, handling trail riding and road work with the same assurance. It's never missed a beat and I will be sorry to see it go. Has been massively more useful than my old Serow for sure.

Now making the choice between a pukka enduro bike and.... A full-suss mountain bike. Well, I want to ride those trail parks properly some time and they won't let me in with an engine!

Hope you all enjoy your TTRs, best trail bike going.

all the best

James

Parting is such sweet sorrow, James.

It is such a pity that you have to leave this pleasant company after having only two messages posted. cry

For the record I've inspected my indicator stalk thingy and there is no screw holding the plastic end onto the steel switch shaft.

Can you not fashion a replacement from some suitably shaped plastic (spray can nozzle) and glue it on? confuse

Martyn

Thanks Martyn, I think I will probaby end up having to do something like that, am going to have a look in the local breakers at the weekend to see if they have any old switchgear I might raid first. Then it's down to my daughter's craft box.

cheers

James
