Hi.

Maybe a stuppid question, I have only recently bought my TTR250 1993 (K reg), Which spark plug do i need and what size plug spanner please?.

Steve, take a look at this very page - at the top is a blue horizontal line. Above the left hand of this line you will see some clicky things.

Click on the one that reads The TTR250 FAQ web pages and lo and behold you get transported to a cuddy-load of items.

One of them is Spark Plugs.

You could, of course, click this CLICKY THINGY.

Is it worthwhile paying a bit extra and getting an Iridium plug - CR9EIX CR9E-IX ?

We use the iridium plug.  They last longer, NGK claim improved combustion but think you'd be hard pressed to notice it.  I think the longer life makes them a good choice.  We ran them 30,000km in an XT Yamaha and the engines were still starting and running ok.
