Thanks Adam. It is nice when it comes out looking nice after so much hard work getting the basics sorted that no-one sees.

This one is probably sold without having to advertise it wink

Is there a standard graphic set available for the TTR?

Nope - they are original. The anodising (I think that is what it is anyways) on the early TTRs was much better quality than on later TTRs.

My 2004 TTR's engine paint is tatty in comparison.

The high temperature silver paint is a naff colour (IMHO!) and I am trying to find an alternative that can stand up to mud, water, and road chippings. I am still waiting for my "project TTR" engine to come back after being sprayed in "two pack" which is supposed to be really tough but beyond an amateur like me to apply - very dangerous apparently without the right breathing eqpt confuse

 Thanks Logi!

It is still possible to buy the Yamaha OE original decals but you would be looking at near £200 for the full set.

I have been able to source some copies of the originals which are as near as dammit a perfect colour match and a whole lot cheaper. See http://www.ttr250.com/TTR_extras/

I really like this decal set ...If you have no objections I would like to see if I can have it copied almost the same over here in Bangkok

Darren, beware of copyright laws! furious

If you're doing a one off for yourself you'd probably be OK - but if you were to copy and market for gain then the "force may be with you" for infriging copyright.

Mind you, being where you are you'd probably be immune confuse

Hi Darren

I think the decals are actually made in Thailand and exported to the UK etc.

I can't give permission to copy the design as its not in my gift to do so. I suggest you contact Karl Barker at D&D Graphics to see if you can do a local deal wink
