Do they work? confuse

Picture 4 shows the nipple well below the shiny outer race of the top bearing - how does grease get to it?

I suppose they are used to fill the whole headstock with grease?

Better than Mr Yamaha's solution though.

Excellent idea! We have done that on my bro's TTR. We had a bit of a kerfuffle when grease started oozing out from under the handlebars and we then realised he was missing the rubber bung at the top of the fork stem biggrin

Yes, once it's full a couple of pumps on the gun keeps it that way(grease is cheaper than bearings) i looked ay a way of attaching a collar to keep grease at the top but decided it was much easier just to fill the headstock smile
