Yes they are, don't click on any links. I got rid of the last lot. Hopefully bBrian is going to change something back end of the forum to stop this happening, but he is not able to do so at the moment. I will have another go at tidying up and banning / deleting ip addresses and posts.

Really sorry that this is happening.

I am away on holiday and find it difficult to do stuff on a phone screen.

However, I have managed to set all the sub forums to allow only read access to non members which I hope will cut out most of the bot posts.

There aren't a great deal of control options on the forum unfortunately.

I have managed to get access to the forum using a tablet so have been able to see in more detail what has been going on and it wasn't good!

I think I have identified the main spammers and have deleted their posts and banned them from the forum.

I hope to goodness I haven't accidentally deleted a genuine user!

If anyone sees any obvious spammers at work then please let me know and I will deal with them asap.

I hope normal service will now be resumed.
