Hi. I am new to the ttr forum

and just wanted to say hello.

I am Mike, I live in West Sussex and have been riding trail bikes for a while.

I have picked up a ttr250 that I would like to restore and use.

So I thought it would be good to join the forum.

Hi Brian,

Sorry for the delay in responding. 

I am not great at computers and we are renovating our house which is taking up loads of time.

I think you sorted out my password and helped me get on here? Thank you for that.

I have checked out Steve's shop and spoken to him too. Unfortunately he doesn't have the parts I need. 

Basically I need a complete engine. The top end is missing, and the bottom end has loads of play in the big end.

It is missing the generator (stator plate), fly wheel and the engine cover. Other than that the bike is complete.

I would like to find an engine and fix it, but if I can't I may well offer it as spares / repairs.

Anyway thanks again for your help.
