Hello all. Just wondered if anyone had ever had a problem with a slight leak in the carb when standing and not even running.
I think (not sure at all) it may be coming from the lid where you access the diaphragm (photo attached). I took the carb off and then tightened everything up. However, still leaking, so need to get the carb back off and take a closer look. The lid for the diaphragm is metal on metal so perhaps needs a little sealant there? Perhaps it's coming from higher up where I can't see whilst on the bike?
Any advice gratefully received. Just wondered if this might be a common(ish) problem?
It's probably the diaphragm itself , check to make sure the rubber is in good condition, also the 2 small O ring's will need replacing. Hope that helps.
