Hi all I was wondering if you can help me

I bought a ttr250 about a year ago I noticed the clutch was slipping so I decided to check the clutch plates and saw one plate had been snapped in a few places so I cleaned the motor out got the pieces out and put second hand plates for the mean time it lasted about 2 months then snapped again I replaced them again yesterday and I had 3 rides on the bike and it happened again my mechanic doesn't really know whats going on also I wanted to see maybe if someone here would know thank you 🙏

Hi Dylan, I had that happen before, it was an issue with the basket itself. If you hold the large gear on the back still and rotate the outer fingers there most likely will be rotational play. I'm pretty sure that was the issue as my other baskets never had that, neither did the replacement.

Good luck
