gimme some options for mount / securing the rear of the tank, I had a simple buckle strap with a few ect wraps previously but it’s time to get something more secure
Just run the right hand side one between the carb and the top of the cylinder, as long as it is not touching the engine it will be fine 👍
Righto
Just twiddling my thumbs and over researching while waiting for the tank to arrive next week. On a side note, I attempted to repair the crack in the tank with Dynagrip putty which apparently can be used on plastic and ok with petrol. Seemed to work, didn't overfill the tank and had a 10km ride around town. 2 days later, warm day and it just peeled off. Not flexible enough I guess with tank expansion

I don't use anything to secure the rear of the tank. Bolted at the front, held down by the seat at the rear. It's not been any problem.
Routing the fuel line from the right - under the air inlet, behind the carb.
The fuel lines should be below the tap for their entire length. If you route it up over the engine, that becomes the lower limit of the tank. No idea how much fuel you'd then not be able to access in the right side without laying the bike over on it's left.
Can't remember how to rotate the pic to portrait posn.
It's a bit tidier these days. You should've seen it when I first did it. Spaghetti!
