Exhaust cracked right through today 😟. Don’t think it can be repaired ? So looking at new one . What do the new stainless ones sound like ? Good or too loud ? Keep it standard ? Thoughts ? Cheers

HI i have the Australian staintune muffler, it's not super loud but annoying when riding for several hours, the main thing is it's a lot lighter than the original, I still have the original muffler it was taken off when the bike was new, so haven't ridden with it on, I've gone close to trying it at times just haven't got round to it .

If you have a friendly tyre/exhaust shop locally, they should be able to fit a new collar. Doesn't look too rusty. You would need to take the bike to them to make sure it all lines up.

So on inspection the exhaust is pretty solid a mate said  he could repair it . On looking around my Shed spotted a stainless Chinese exhaust I bought in error years ago . It turned out to be a perfect fit. He even painters it and didn’t charge me for any of the work ! Result
