Have you looked at any of the TTRs for sale yet?

It is impossible to suggest anything other than a ballpark figure of value based on photos. If the engine is smoking or the sprag clutch banging then be prepared to have to spend out money and time.

So much to look at when buying. Did you see my checklist here ?

Hi Brian, thanks for the info. I have only looked at one in person, and had a few folks contact me with photos/details of their bikes...some being just a little too far to travel to view! Prices ranging from £2000-2500 for a later Blue model. Is this amount the going rate for these types of bikes, as I have recently seen the older Raid models listed for just under £2500! Thanks.

I think 2 - 2.5k for a blue one is reasonable. Raids are a rare model so maybe command higher prices (or their owners think they do) for the big tank .

Okay, so would you say £2500 should get me a later model in excellent condition, or could I expect to pay above this amount? Thank you.
