Okay so just before Christmas I bought this important raid from DK. After a bit of faff getting it registered, partly because I needed to ride it for its test and guess what? It didn't run properly.
After much fannying about with the carb, I was about to take it down the garage this afternoon when I thought I'd try running it with the airbox off.
For the first time I felt all 18 horses in my right hand.
Sadly, after a short test ride I realised the engine had expired and this was the cause of my frustrations.
So if you're reading this and you've got a spare working engine lying around, give me a shout, I'd really love to actually use this bike 😅

I could hear a load of dinging from the engine then it started to lose power. Although it didn't stop and it did regain some power after a brief pause. More than a little smoke and some oil in the airbox when I got back.
I will take it to a local garage and see what they say. I would actually like to use it so was hoping to find an engine to throw in it for now.
