Oil filter cover bolts thread pitch

Hello, I have had my 2003 ttr for about 8 months and ive been doing routine maintenance but i have ran into a problem with my oil filter cover. i over tightened the bottom screw on the cover and stripped it and im thinking of doing a helicoil but i need the thread size and i cant find it anywhere online. Im thinking its an M6x1.0 but i could be wrong. just wanted to ask here before i buy the wrong thing.

I had the same problem and the M6x1.0 helicoil did the trick!

thats correct m6 standard pitch but you will have to order a kit not just helicoils
