Having a few health problems and may have to give up the off roading. Spending all my working life on my knees (plumber) has paid a heavy price on my body
Hi Steve,
Oh, very sorry to hear that.
The Retirement Age in NZ is 65 and there are no plans to move that upwards because most Tradies (Builders, Plumbers, Electricians, etc) are worn out at that age.
The TTR is still a cool bike to ride on the road.
Good luck Mate
Cheers
Jeff and Penny

Also sorry to hear that Steve.
My knees aren’t good - bone on bone in my right knee with Osteoarthritis. I also suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis too affecting many bones and take more prescription drugs than you can shake a stick at, including 6 monthly 12 hour infusions
Just got my first TTR and hope to ride it mainly on unclassified (UK) roads.
Worn out parts Rheumatoid Arthritis Osteoarthritis not many who worked in the Trade's who don't pay for it in later years Carpenter I spent near 40 years for the most cut roofing was my game some days now I can hardly hold a tool in my hands no griping power anymore my backs shot to bit's but the knees are not bad not that I like to craw around on them only when I fall over 🤣😂🤣. I took a step back at 55 it was killing me house was payed for a little bit in the bank for a rainy day and and I mean a little bit her indoors was worn out too hand wise as well 40 years of typing did her in she now keeps home and I work in a school as technician in the DT department nice warm classroom 27 hours a week over 4 days 39 weeks of the year no plan to retire yet but you never know the next bit of you that's going to fall off or stop working. Just got back on to the bike riding this year and an outing with the lad's on the bikes is like a Geriatric club meeting and ride out 🤣😂🤣🤣 with the talk being who's in Hospital or dead this week getting old comes to us all
