Wanted TTr possible px or swap
Permalink

Hello,

new to the forum, just testing the waters for a bike as I have decided to look for a smaller bike to

ride at home and (possibly) abroad (want To blend in, hate orange) and want a small air cooled bike (between an xr250 and ttr250). I ride off-road fairly regularly too and being able to pick it up is a plus. a button and a kick a double plus.

I like to be able to fix things with spanners and struggle with electronics!
I currently have two bikes that could be sold or traded px etc for the right bike.

1993BMwf650 Dakar (rotax engine) pictures below

good condition 30k on the clock, stahlkhoffer boxes, various bits and new tyres and wheel bearings, new oil and filter.

V5 in my name and service history and paperwork.

and a 1992 kdx250 ( just putting new rings and gaskets on the top end currently)

fairly good condition very useable.l

v5 in my name no history.

can send pictures via WhatsApp. pm for number etc
maybe someone would like a larger overlander or a 2stroke after a good condition ttr probably blue one (maybe a white ? Could do with some advice)

would be used mainly in Cornwall and south Devon lanes.(any other ttrs out there?)

Short commute to work.

maybe this is in the wrong thread? Sorry as it’s my first post happy to abide by the local

customs.

Josh

Helston, Cornwall

Devon is the spiritual home of UK TTRs! Location of forum founder Brian, and Totallyttrs shop owner Steve.
Other than age and fuel tank, there is not much to choose between white and blue, and condition should dictate your purchase. The FAQ page is a helpful guide.
Good luck with your search.

Here are the pictures of the Kdx. I’d swap both bikes in current condition for a good ttr? If that’s something anyone might consider. KDX would be an easy restoration for someone. needs the cylinder re plating.
