Enduristan Sandstorm 4S tank bag

Hi all,

I thought some of you might be interested to see the Enduristan Sandstorm 4S tank bag on my blue tanked TTR.

I was recently looking for a way of carrying extra kit for an overnight stay after a day's trail riding without upsetting my standing riding position, while still carrying enough to be useful. The Sandstorm 4S appeared to be the best (affordable) option for me. It measures 30 x 20 x 16/24 cm and expands from 7L to 12L. My long legs do rest against the bag rather than the tank when I am standing, but it is barely wider than the tank and I haven't found this to be a problem. I did consider the shorter, non-expandable Sandstorm H4 (27 x 20 x 16) which might not have gotten between the tank and my legs, but went for the extra volume in the end.

To get the bag to fit as far forwards as possible, I swapped the original filler cap with vent pipe for an Acerbis locking one (a good tip from this forum).

So finally, the pic's:

I maybe should have mentioned that I couldn't get the tank bag further forward without it stopping the handlebars reaching full lock

That is very useful info and pics for me. Want to get more weight up front myself.
Thanks for the posting.

Hi Stortleg,

I'm glad it was interesting to someone.

I got my locking fuel cap from the TotallyTTRs shop, see here: Acerbis Locking Fuel Cap - Totally TTRs

I like to support the shop when I can, but I see that they currently show no stock.

I expect an internet search will come up with many other suppliers,

All the best,

Lama
