I rarely post and really should do so more. In that respect here are a couple of views (pics make it look a little cleaner than it really is) taken yesterday of my TTR. Just finished off a few service, cleaning and maintenance jobs in readiness for hopefully a better year than the last one. I have owned it for about 4 years and in that time have replaced all the usual wheel/ suspension, shock bearings and bushes, rebuilt carb, revalved/ sealed/ bushed forks, rebuilt calipers, new sprag, new speedo magnet, wide footpegs, speedo healer, cheap led spotlights, home made roadbook holder, just checked valves and camchain and cleaned and greased wiring loom connectors etc etc. Just about to fit new braided hose on the front, hopefully later today.

Over time i have picked up another pair of wheels, now fitted with new Kenda K270 trail tyres and new tubes ready for a Lands End to John o Groats trip at the end of May, along with another rear wheel which some time ago I fitted with a trials tyre for the odd long distance trial. They really are a great little do it all bike. Mine has done a couple of trials, a few enduros and a couple of UK Rallymoto events, along with the odd bit of green laning and back road exploring, all without any mechanical or reliability issues. Its still pretty competitive too, at least its better than I can realistically use. The only reason I can see it going anywhere is if SWMBO finally gives me permission for a new AJP PR7 (unlikelyat the moment but you never know)!

Anyway its just something for you guys to have a look at. Hopefully see some of you on(or off) the road soon.

Rich.
