New TTR250 Owner In Australia

Hi TTR friends,

I’ve just bought 100 acres just south of Braidwood in NSW Australia and needed a bike to get around a bit quicker and easier. Always love the Yamaha’s and after reading great things about the TTR’s, about myself a 2011 TTR250. The bike will be arriving here shortly and can’t wait until she does. Love what I read and see about the TTR's, and love the sound of that four stroke engine purring away. What a sweet motor!!

I’ve not owned a bike in a long time, but will use the TTR250 around the acres and a little bit of on-road as well. Mainly for runs down to the post box two kilometres down the road, a few spots along the local river, and the eighteen kilometres into town occasionally.

Anyway, loving the site so far, and look forward to posting and learning from what you guys have to offer.

Thanks. Will put up a photo as soon as the new girl arrives, but here's one of her before she leaves her current home.

Thanks mate. I'm so excited. Just looking through this site and seeing how proud everyone is of their bikes just makes me so happy to now own one myself. Should be here next week all going well

Looks pretty neat for a 20yo bike. It should meet your needs well. Here's a vid of your local area which might inspire you to explore the TTR's potential.

Thanks Graeme, and thanks for the link. The early part of that ride is literally within a few kilometres of my acres. Will definitely have to get out on the bike and explore.
