Rear wheel spacer kind of fix

Replaced another set of wheel bearings.  They were a bit reluctant to come out and the spacer got a bit messed up. Leaving it a tad shorter than it should be I went to order a new one but it's a three month wait 

Over night I've tidied the end up and but a bit of metal putty on the end now all good until the new one arrives 

It was going to put a bit of side  load  on the bearings once the bolt was tightened 

Can't recall how many sets of bearings it's had just giving them the best chance of survival 

It's done over 80000ks

Never thought of that! confuse

I would have preferred washers from my expansive store of redundant bits and bobs.

I thought about washers but the steel putty has worked everytime I've used it 

But will put the new one in once it arrives  petty good price from the local dealer the wait is annoying though but that's how it is this year
