Hi, having just spent a fruitless search trying trying to 'Contact the Administrator' to unlock my account, after joining the forum and not receiving the confirmation email.

Can you please explain in the application or put a link or something about how to do this.

I have tried countless times and double, triple checked my email address is correct,

tried to get the contact details and the link re-sent, all to no avail and no it was not going to my spam folder.

But until you are allowed to sign in you cannot access any contact here (including the administrator!!) most frustrating and i nearly said well sod it then!

In the end I had to re-apply with a different user name and email address which thankfully worked (hence my post here!)

Its a shame my first post had to be a grizzle!!

Hi Skinut and welcome to the forum - eventually!

I am the forum owner and Cubber and ttr steve are administrators.

Sorry to hear of your problem. Can you PM me your original userid so that I can have a look at what went wrong please?

I will try and think of a way to allow potential members to contact me without putting my email address on the forum for the spambots to find.

Anyone else run an Activeboard forum and can advise please?

Steve tends to get emails from members at Totally TTRs with issues and passes them on to me but that isn't a transparent way to do it I realise confuse

Anyways up, please do an introductory post on the new members sub forum and we can welcome you properly wink

Administrators don't usually interrupt proceedings - they usually have a low, helpful profile. smile
