TTR250 For Sale! £2400
Permalink

Hi everyone

For sale - my 59 plate TTR250, blue plastic tank model.

Great bike, my second TTR (my first was a "Raid") and I'm very attached to it, however a new to me KTM needs funding and I'll have to let this go.

Details

59 plate, registered 13 January 2010 - I think this is the date of registration and the bike is older.

Number of former keepers - 3, the previous two are good friends of mine and the owner from new was the Yamaha Off Road Experience.

Mileage - 720 on odometer, however the clocks were only fitted when registered, and it was only MOTd for it's first time by myself in January (no advisories).

MOT January 2021

3 keys

Electric and kick start

Starts and runs great

Recent fork seals, chain, oil and filter, rear wheel bearings

Michelin Comp Enduro tyres

Heated grips

Luggage rack

Wrap around hand guards

Yamaha Monster graphics

Fitted with all road gear - indicators, mirrors, horn etc

Original, unused tool kit!!!

Comes with a few spares - oil filters, brake and clutch levers, gigantic OE indicators

Also comes with a lowering linkage if you are a shorter rider - very very easy to fit. Currently fitted with the higher linkage.

Superb bike - rides great, will just go on and on. If I could afford to keep it I would not be selling it.

Bad points

Some wear on the frame from boots - clearly visible in the pictures

Dent on chrome trim of exhaust, again clearly visible.

£2400 or proper, serious offers.

I am not far from Rochdale, Lancashire.

If you are interested then PM me and I can supply my phone number.

Cheers

Robert

Nice looking TTR - good luck with the sale.

PS The exhaust trim is cheap and easy to replace - just 4 rivets - see https://totallyttrs.com/epages/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84/Products/TTR-0183

I've actually been reading this forum for years and years - I've found Brian to be a mine of information.

It's a bit late to change the chrome cover on the exhaust now I think - in any case the new owner might want to bung a CRD on there or some such.

My "new" bike is a 2008 KTM and I can tell you that the TTR appears to be a lot better finished in terms of fasteners etc. Great, solid bikes.
