HI

I have just rebuilt my carb and fitted a new diaphragm .

when i operate the throttle arm there is no jet of fuel coming out. the small jet was blocked. but it seem to be clear now. the diaphragm seems to be pumping ok but no fuel comes out, could it be the check vale, is there any way to test them. any help much appreciated.

Hi Don and welcome to the forum!

Just blow/suck on the check valve to see if its one-way action is working wink

Thanks Brian

I have done a lot of sucking and blowing every time i strip the carb down. I have since tried  sucking on the valve and are not convinced it is sealing well, I suspect it is the valve and will order a new one. I can't think what else it can be as the jet is clear and the diaphragm seems to pump ok.

Found your carb strip and rebuild item very handy, very informative,

Thanks

Don
