I had wondered it would be enjoyable to ride a ttr on a motocross track, have any of you ridden your ttr250 on a motocross track?

It can be done but as much as the ttr likes to fly it doesn't like landing that much .

Fun but not something I'd choose to do on a regular basis

Back in 1975 my MX bike was 102kg, the front was light as, easier to keep the front light in sand etc. A TTR is a really good trail bike / dual sport but MX bike it is not

I've taken my bike to the track a few times. I much prefer using the wr. much better. Or even better, use a track bike!

Here is a few from when we were allowed to play out last year... Probably already in another post in here about Uncle Eddies at Doncaster, UK

 

One of the regulars was concerned when looking over his shoulder to see my headlight blaring and an indicator flashing...before the indicators fell off.
