After market speedo

Just fitted an after market speedo  . The first couple of Yamaha ones failed one the middle fell out the second the lens started cracking

Bought one $48 dollars delivered.

Fitted no worries changed the light fitting so the plugs were the same.

Just checked it and it's accurate

Now to see if it lasts looks to be built OK

Used the spare bulb holder for the oil light in the spare green hole next to the neutral light to come on when the grip heaters are on.  Thought I'd use it

Could just use the oil light on the speedo if you wanted to

Use a speedo cable adapter like this to get mph. A bit expensive, but I've used them to modify Serow kph speedos and they appear accurate. Just put a mph sticker over the kph mark, otherwise confusion may occur!
