manual cam chain tensioner

hi all has anyone used a manual cam chain tensioner on there bikes seems a failsafe idea no loose chain etc. just wondered what folk think.

The big question is would you trust yourself to adjust it properly in the first instance and then to keep it in adjustment.  I wouldn't trust me disbelief

Never had an issuer with the standard automatic tensioners wink
