Wanted. Headlight bulb holder for blue model
Permalink

Hi all I have had to re register on the forum, as not been on for sometime and lost my log on details.  i had tried a more powerful headlight bulb, and when it blew, I noticed it had melted  the inside of headlamp plastics.  This meant i had to break the bulb holder to remove it.

this is why I require just the bulb holder, so ideally  someone might have a smashed light, this is my hope.   secondly has anyone tried the polisport  headlight which you can get an road legal led headlight.

cheers

Dave

Welcome back!
Really hard to find a review of the new led Halo unit. For that price you would hope it was good!

Don't know the code for the bulb but it's easy to fit in a car type bulb the one with tabs on the side that turn to lock in place ..Then use flat connectors that push on crimp them to original wiring .Strongly recommend using a LED bulb as it won't generate all that heat .Melted my own headlamp once .

I think it's a h4 led that fits without bulb holder .

That’s a possibility, but the inside of the light I’d slightly damaged by the heat from the higher wattage bulb.  I had to get my dremmel to file the hole round again, so i doubt any bulb will fit correctly.  However a led bulb will generate less heat, and I could still use the duct tape i am using now.  Thanks for your repl, I will look at the H4 bulb

h4 bulb will be 65w minimum so that needs a glass lens for a motorcycle because the bulb is too near the plastic lens
