 They don't tell yer that in the sales brochures .. have to find it out for yerself...

So my Boy has been riding my TTR around..

He managed to put over the side of Coes Ford into about 1200mm/4 foot of water..

It lay under the water for a good 30mins.. After I had taken the trailer to pick it up

got it home... drained the milk out of the motor/ refill ... remove spark plug pump the water out..

quess what... after 5 mins of cranking it start to show signs of life... another few mins and it was idleing

but would only run on choke....

took it for a 5 km ride the carb cleared out and it run with out the choke... like nothing had ever happened to it..

I will do the oil again and filter next week end.....

 

PS... you would be surprise how much water can fit into a TTR exhaust pipe....I just dose no stop coming out...

That's really wet 

Check the head light and other lights they tend to take on water as well.

 not going drain the head light... put gold fish in it....
