I need to get a spare key cut for my 2005 TTR but nobody seems to know what model and key code blank is needed.

Does anyone know ?.

I have one original genuine key but not the tag that tells me the original number

I've looked through the microfiches and it looks Yamaha don't sell a blank for this model like most do.

Hi Andy.

Probably easiest just to order a new key already cut to fit. This thread includes a guide to finding the key number.

Cool thanks,

Taking the petrol tank off anyway tomorrow to change the seal behind the on/off/reserve lever. Lets nearly as much fuel past the with the tap in the Off position blankstare
