Crank case instant gasket
Permalink

Hi there,

Doesn't seem to be a thread on this at the moment.

Can anyone recommend a good instant gasket for use between the crankcases? I have generic gasket I have used on other parts of the engine well however I want to make sure this is as robust as possible to avoid future issues and a huge waste of time.

I will most likely just go for a popular brand but wanted to steal peoples knowledge from past experiences.

Thank you.

I use Codex 05C74 which is similar stuff sold by my local bearing supplier. Just a high grade temperature oil and antifreeze resistant flange sealant.
