Two parts to this.

I laid my bike down and cracked my gas tank and need to replace it. So I'm looking to purchase one if anyone has one available.

On a side note, I had considered trying to repair it myself using JB Weld or some form of plastic welding, but I'm hearing that it can be tricky, especially on gas tanks, Considering the different plastic compounds different manufactures use.

Can anyone shed some light on the repair portion of it?

No idea if this is possible, but it might be worth a try:

JB Weld doesn't stick well to gas tank plastics and falls off after a while because it doesn't expand and contract at the same rate as the tank.
Strangely I have very rarely seen blue tanks for sale. Don't know what happens to them when people break up the bikes?

Thank you for the reply and the caution on the JB weld.
I've seen that page on how to fix them, but was told dirt bike manufactures oftentimes used their own blend of material for plastic tanks and that to have a repair that stood the test of time it NEEDS to be the same plastic as the tank you're fixing.
I'd love to fix it myself if I could, or just buy one off someone.
I'm hoping someone has a stash or something. lol
Thank you for the welcome. I bought my bike last year as my first bike and have loved it. Never skipped a beat except that my carb is a tad stuck from not riding it for 6 months.

Try a car bumper repairer/welder, they may be able to help.
