Hello,

always thought a ttr250 would be a good addition to bike family.  Picked one up for my son and we’ve been having a great time going thru it Until today we found 2 broken cam caps (left side small ones)  so I joined and posted a wanted ad.

 

ive been around MCs most of my life and enjoy working on, riding, and chatting about them.

Welcome to the forum Wade.

Bad luck on the cam caps. I think there's someone investigating having some made at the moment, so although they are line bored matching pairs, with Yamaha's accuracy they are all very similar and might only need a little fine tuning with the plastigauge and wetordry paper. Fingers crossed...

I have someone working on supplying me cam caps, he is making one for himself, hopefully sending me one to try and then fingers crossed I will be selling  them in the shop, But his may not happen for a while yet.
