Spent months reading and learning mainly from this forum. Just wanted to thank everyone involved for their input. Pleased with my 2004 TTR250. Few jobs to do on it but nothing major. It'll be used as as a  occasional commuter in winter to save my new Africa Twin from the salted roads. Primarily it'll be trail riding in the UK. Really impressed by my first ride out today. Plenty of power for the lanes and enough for steady commute.

You don't say where you're from apart from England, so enjoy your commute and offroading wherever. smile

It looks too smart to do many muddy lanes but enjoy whatever you decide.
