The "new" ttr has something odd with the clutch. The clutch friction/engagement point moves from engaging when the lever is almost fully out to about the midway point once it is warmed up.
Thoughts on what might be happening here? I notice the clutch pivot (whatever its called!) on the engine doesn't quite line up with the casing mark - not miles out but a little.
Otherwise operates fine, no slipping, nice smooth engagement etc. Annoying as I like the clutch to engage just as if lifts off my fingers on the grip - which is fine as I adjusted it hot - until it cools down and it then engages right at the end, when the lever is almost all the way out.
I reckon that's normal, I haven't really noticed it too much on the TTR, its a lot worse/more noticeable on the WR's.
I just set it so its good hot, its only cold for a while.
I have set it that way so it is not a big deal but just never experienced it before and assumed it wasn't a good sign - or sign of something loose or not adjusted correctly.
PS. I've just installed the suspension I got back from Teknik - hanging for a ride to test it out. Very different than standard, as in the dampening and esp. the rebound dampening is very different and noticeable.
In the middle of moving house so bad timing for a ride! I'll post an update when I get a chance.
