First ride on the WRR for two months

Took the WRR out today for a loop around the dirt / gravel roads, first time I've ridden the WRR since breaking my ankle in the Victorian High country late March.

Not great weather with a high of around 12c & showers, I missed all the rain until around 5kms from home so all good.

Really enjoyed the WRR, changed the gearing since the last ride, standard is 13/43, I ran 13/47 for the VHC but fitted a 14T couple of weeks ago so now I'm running 14/47, seems good.

Only stopped to take a couple of photos along the way. So here you are

Looks like a good day out. Good that the ankle is good enough to ride again enjoy

Much the same weather up my way.  The ttr has been out a bit too

Sounds like our English weather Terry!  Very difficult to plan rides in advance as the weather is so changeable - usually. I don't enjoy riding in the rain (dangerous for all sorts of reasons) and you lose all the lovely scenic views cry

Good to see you out and about again. Your photos put me to shame. A group of us are (subject to weather!) going for a ride around Dartmoor so I will try and take some photos this time wink

Not a lover of riding in the rain either Brian, the photos are from my Iphone so nothing special, when I'm out on my own like today it easier to stop & take a few snaps but it means there are no riders in shot.

I should have taken a couple of photos on the way back near home, it was all misty along the range !!!

First day of winter yesterday, would you believe we had sunshine yesterday & rain today, luck of the draw I guess.

Cheers Terry

Speaking of Misty rain here is a video just after I bought the TTR, 15minutes from home

Same day & first day down this fire track, was so slippery & the TTR was on the standard dual sport tyres as they come from the factory
