hi to all

just joined the forum as i hope to be a ttr owner later today, going to look at a 1993 white open enduro ,been into offroad bikes all my teen and adult years now in a couple of weeks its my 70th birthday so treating myself to a for me modern bike, currently riding a cb250rs modded for trail riding but its also my daily ride so a dedicated laner will be great ,used ro ride motorcross and enduro up till i was 50 something, i restore classic tvr`s and classic bikes plus some general engineering( look up some of my threads on the piston heads forum same username) cheers to all see out on the trails etc.

Hi Welcome as a lover of the of the cb250rs and xl motors hears my half breed motor is cb with xl head and a old  big bore gpz  piston I had sitting under the bench taking her to bit over the 300cc bottom frame loop cut out frame top tube stretch took a bit of work to get the motor into the later 1984 frame still love this bike to ride even with the TTR and Montesa 4 Ride

Welcome to the forum John.

Starting on a TTR at 70 is a trifle late, but better late than never. biggrin

I gave up riding bikes and driving cars at 70 due to MS - that was 2 years ago.

I'm still doddering around on my mobility scooter - even on a few local lanes. smile

Enjoy it while you can.

Martyn

Welcome to the forum John biggrin

I hope you snag that TTR at a good price

It's nice to see the TTR250 being recognised as the classic trail bike that it is wink

Out of interest, what classic bikes are you into?

Brian
